Crazy Grape Media is the commercial nom de plume of writer and editor Cara Bouwer. Cara has extensive experience in the South African media environment. Armed with a BA (Hons) in Print Media and Journalism she cut her teeth at Penta Publications in the early 1990s before moving onto Business Day where she made history by becoming the newspaper’s youngest Sports Editor and the first woman to hold this title on a national daily in SA. Over eight years she fulfilled a variety of managerial roles on the paper, including Deputy Special Projects Manager and Chief Sub Editor.
Cara left Business Day to join the team which launched Destiny magazine, taking up the role of Business Editor. After two years she branched out on her own to launch Crazy Grape Media. Cara currently edits FNB Private Clients' Private Life magazine and writes for titles such as Strategic Marketing magazine, EasyDIY and Destiny Man. Crazy Grape Media also works with a number of corporate clients.
