Experience

I have been writing professionally for about 17 years, having begun with writing children's fiction under a pseudonym for a UK based publishing company. In 2011, my children's book , Desert Prisoner, written in my own name was published by Tafelberg.

In addition, I am a regular contributor to several magazines - principally SA Country Life, Food & Home Entertaining, Skyways, Business in Durban, The Crest, and The Ridge, and I wrote several long features for international online journalism network Contributoria.  I write on a wide variety of subjects but am especially interested in Environmental Issues (I am the immediate past chair of Everton Conservancy, the oldest urban conservancy in South Africa), Wilderness, and Travel.
