I studied at the AAA School of Advertising where I obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Visual Communication. I then moved on to complete my BTech Honours at the Cape Peninsula University.
After studying, my husband (then boyfriend) and I moved to London in the UK where I worked as a designer for Aramark. I enjoyed a little bit of traveling around the UK along with a trip to Paris and Spain. This experience will stay with me forever!
A year had passed and it was time to come home... back to our roots, to our home town of East London (SA) to be surrounded by the family we love.
I worked for Saptrotex International, Makinwa Media and finally for Midrand Graduate Institute where I managed the Graphic Design Department, lecturing design to the students. I adored the lecturing environment as it gave me the opportunity to share my passion for design and inspire students while still remaining relevant by working as a freelance designer in my spare time.
After 4 few years of lecturing (and part time freelancing), it was time to shift focus and concentrate more on the freelance world so I opened my own design studio and I have never looked back! My journey has been an extremely rewarding one and I look forward to the many more design journeys to come!
