As an Art Director, with over 21 years of experience (13 of which were accrued at the Middle East’s leading publishing house, based in Dubai), I remain greatly passionate about design. My main experience has been in Customer and Consumer publishing, which involves successfully interpreting the client’s brief, leading a team of individuals who play a variety of roles, and focusing on working in an efficient manner through the management of the project’s workflow. Clients often have speciﬁc requirements, and I enjoy providing them with value by presenting a range of innovative concepts to help them successfully reach their objectives.
Throughout my career, my skills have developed to include: Successful budget planning and management, finding creative ways to work around the strictest budgets, while still managing to show savings year-end, Creative development, leading a project from start to ﬁnish - Managing a design team and client liaison - A – Z conceptual development.
Extensive experience in managing photographic shoots, from concept, storyboarding, and location scouting, to casting, styling and editing. - Product re-branding (Note: you can mention which sector these products are in - media titles, retail etc.) - Effective time management and meeting the tightest deadlines - Professional even under very stressful situations - Highly motivated at all times, meticulous, very organised and systematic. During my tenure with ITP Publishing, I also assisted with public relations, marketing and editorial assignments, such as editorial/advertorial copywriting, photography and travelling for lifestyle articles. I enjoy designing corporate logos, monograms, brochures, booklets, leaflets and magazines.
