I am currently enrolled as a Doctorate student in Leadership at the University of Johannesburg. My PhD Research is focused on Entrepreneurship with a focus on Women in Business. I recently completed a Masters in Philosophy (Leadership in Emerging Countries) at the University of Johannesburg with a Master's thesis that focused on Female Leadership Perspectives in East Africa. I have over 13 years experience in the humanitarian and development sector with a specific focus in Kenya, Uganda, Somalia and South Sudan. My strengths lie in research on humanitarian and development issues, proposal and report writing, business development, strategic planning support, finance and administration, grants management, customer support, overall coordination, program implementation and management, problem solving, organizational development and improvement among others. This includes technical writing, management of activities, comprehensive follow-up on issues, staff administration and logistics, good relationships and linkages with stakeholders, strategic planning support, due diligence process as well as providing valuable input in programming. I have relevant experience in networking and liaison with staff and partners; coordination, information handling, project and financial management.
