I come from Cape Town, South Africa and I am a freelance photographer and videographer. I graduated with a degree in fine art photography from the University of Cape Town.
I have since had my work exhibited in a solo show at the RK Contemporary as well as at Smith. I also had one photograph selected and exhibited in Sweden at the Landskrona Foto Festival. Furthermore, I have also had it exhibited in Miami and I have a few series selected for a show at the Museum der Bildenden Künste Leipzig for the department of environmental affairs, Germany, 2020.
Besides my art, I also shoot commercially, mostly producing content for brands and travel companies. I have also worked alongside a blind motivational adventurer and speaker, Hein Wagner for the past 9 months, managing his media(websites/social media). I create all his content from concept to end product and make sure it's posted with the appropriate copy. I have also shot a series of campaigns for tech company SAP with Hein. Hein has achieved some amazing feats for the blind including doing the Cape Epic on a tandem, running the Antarctica marathon and setting the land blind speed record for the blind. I also travel with him wherever he goes overseas doubling as his personal photographer/videographer and travel assistant. You are welcome to have a look at his Instagram @hein_wagner and his website www.heinwagner.com, which I both run.
Other than that I have shot for Casall( Swedish training apparel), Woolworths, Travel Designer, Amsol, Hilton, Theonista, Nourished, Jack Lemkus, Maison J, And Union, Jensen, to name a few.
I have also worked as the dedicated photographer on the S.A. Aghulus cruise last year. The S.A. Aghulus is South Africa's marine research division and I was onboard lecturing and documenting the cruise. This year I will be back on the Aghulus as their dedicated photographer. I have also worked as a social media content creator and manager at a marine research institute in Madagascar last year for 3 months.
