I have been a photojournalist since 1989. Originally worked in hard news for newspapers, mainly the Sunday Times in Johannesburg and other publications.
Was part of a photographic collective called Afrapix .
1994 I moved to Cape Town where I have freelanced for many years.
Work as a photographer for books, magazines, newspapers locally and internationally.
Also picture research and editing.
-won the Vivien Wilkes award for children's alphabet ,which was a combination of photographs and illustrations
-won the NGO poster award for South Africa with a poster called "Celebrate." Celebrate your differences, celebrate your similarities. Designed and Photographed for an NGO ELRU.
-have freelanced for magazines,newspapers,books,photographically documented for many organisations and produced many children's books and educational material.
-Been part of joint exhibitions and have only had one solo exhibition but have plenty of ideas for more...hopefully I will soon.
