Like almost everyone I started professional life in traditional settings. Just before the Covid-19 pandemic I was lucky enough to discover the world of freelancing. After creating my podcast, it was a surprise to discover that I can use my own words to create an income, not just on the podcast, but outside of it as well.
A simple hobby has taken me on a journey that has allowed me to work with giants like Jacaranda 94.2. It has opened paths to new communities, like Safrea and the Podcasting guild.
Most importantly, it has given me the chance to continuously seek out new knowledge. The need to not only know how to do your own work, but to market yourself, and run yourself as a business has given me a newfound passion and joy in life that traditional employment settings simply cannot provide, which is why I’m passionate to serve and help build the freelance community.
