Dear Safreans,
It is the end of another long/short year. Isn’t it strange how the changes that Covid have brought have had such an impact on our perception of time passing?
In some ways it feels like just a month or two ago that I wrote an end-of-year message. In other ways it feels like a lifetime ago, and that we have been stuck on this treadmill with no way of escaping.
It is an old saying, but one that I am sure many of us can relate to, that the time right now is called the “present” because the enjoyment of it is a gift. So, here’s hoping that the end of the year will bring you the greatest gift of all: time to kick back, to reflect on the year that has past and to enjoy some time in the “now” without spending too much time planning for – or worrying about – the future.
