“Not long after I attended a Safrea workshop (Social Media for Business by Nadia von Maltitz), I was approached to produce a marketing video promoting CCTV cameras. Due to the abundance of these types of videos online it was crucial to produce a unique product that stands out from the rest,” said Sarel Henry.
The workshop taught me to follow a different route, using a user-centred strategy. Instead of telling the audience that the product works well, the users explained why it worked well. The video was very successful as a result.
“I want to thank Safrea for not only creating a platform where fresh information is shared, but also for creating valuable networking opportunities. It serves as a soundboard where creatives can discuss ideas and get valuable input,” said Sarel, who joined Safrea as a member after attending the workshop.
