The Eastern Cape region’s first Coffee Club in 2023 kicked off with a bang! “This informal and intimate monthly event was an excellent start for the rest of our Coffee Clubs planned for the year,” said Lize Hayward, the region’s Vice-chair who facilitated a discussion on the five biggest business trends to expect in 2023.

Unravelling these trends, the group was fascinated by the latest technology in the communication world, especially ChatGPT. Everyone is talking about this new chatbot which has the academic world in a frenzy as it can write papers, reports and it responds on demand. The group plans to further unpack these trends and other technologies that impact freelancers’ lives, at future Coffee Clubs.
